You never have to give us personal data. Where a form field is marked required, we cannot deliver that service without it. We do not make automated decisions about individuals.
Data we don't get from you
For business development, we sometimes obtain your name, job title, employer and business contact details from commercial business contact data providers, from public company websites and registers, and from partners who name you as a contact.
You can object at any time and we will stop contacting you, with no reason needed. We keep a record of your objection so we don't contact you again.
Who else sees your data
Providers who process data on our instructions under written agreements: website hosting and domain services, cloud productivity and storage, customer relationship management and marketing communications, business contact data, event registration and scheduling, web analytics, and freelancers engaged by us.
Also: our own staff on a need-to-know basis; payment providers, banks, accountants and professional advisers, acting as controllers for their own purposes; event sponsors and other participants only if you opt in; public authorities where the law requires it.
Data outside the EEA
Some providers are in the United States or the United Kingdom, and some of our freelancers are outside the EEA. Where a country is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, we transfer data under Standard Contractual Clauses supported by a transfer impact assessment. Write to us at primary@j3d.ai for a copy of the safeguards in place.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to another organisation. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can always object to direct marketing. 1. Organiser and scope
The House of Collaboration ("HoC") is organised by J3D.AI Labs OÜ, registry code 16585284, Vindi 9-41, 11315 Tallinn, Estonia ("the Organiser"). These Terms govern the relationship between the Organiser and all HoC participants. By purchasing or accepting a HoC residency, delegate pass or partner pass, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Organiser may update these Terms at any time; the current version is published at j3d.ai.
2. What you are purchasing
A HoC residency is a single, integrated package comprising participation in the full programme, a speaking slot, and accommodation, together with the associated community programme. It is not a housing booking, a ticket to individual sessions, or a set of separable components. Accommodation is available only within a residency package and is under no circumstances sold, transferred or made available to non-participants.
3. Prices, VAT and payment
All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and are inclusive of Swiss VAT at the applicable rate (currently 8.1%), charged on the package as a single supply. The Organiser is registered for Swiss VAT under CHE-293.776.247 MWST.
Prices are tier-based and change according to the published sales ladder; the price applicable is the price in force at the time of purchase. No retroactive adjustment, discount or refund of the difference is made when a participant purchases in one tier and a different price is available at another time.
Payment is processed via Ticket Tailor and its payment providers, or by invoice where expressly agreed. Invoiced amounts are payable within 7 days net and in any event before the event start date; access may be withheld until payment clears.
4. Admission and qualification
HoC is a curated convening. Purchase of a pass constitutes an application for participation and does not in itself confer a right of admission. The Organiser reserves the right, exercised in good faith and within a reasonable period after purchase, to decline a participant. Where the Organiser declines a participant on qualification grounds, the amount paid is refunded in full and no further claims arise.
5. Cancellation, substitution and refunds
5.1 Participant bookings are non-refundable. No refund is made for cancellation, non-attendance, late arrival, early departure, or non-use of any part of the package.
5.2 A fully paid pass may be transferred to a substitute participant, subject to the Organiser's qualification review under clause 4: free of charge up to 30 days before the event start date; against an administrative fee of CHF 250 from 30 to 11 days before the event start date. No substitution is possible within 10 days of the event start date.
5.3 The Organiser may, at its sole discretion and without creating any entitlement, issue a credit toward a future edition.
5.4 Participants are strongly advised to arrange travel and cancellation insurance. The Organiser does not provide it and does not compensate for its absence.

6. Changes, cancellation and force majeure by the Organiser
6.1 The Organiser may modify the programme, speakers, sessions, venue, accommodation properties, schedule and format without liability, provided the character and overall value of the package are preserved.
6.2 If the Organiser cancels the event, participants are offered, at the Organiser's election, either a credit of equivalent value toward a future edition or a refund of amounts paid less any sums irrecoverably committed to third-party suppliers on the participant's behalf, in particular non-refundable accommodation. The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to recover such sums.
6.3 Clause 6.2 applies equally where cancellation or impossibility results from force majeure, including but not limited to natural events, epidemic or pandemic measures, official orders, war, terrorism, strike, or failure of critical infrastructure.
6.4 If the event is postponed, passes remain valid for the rescheduled dates; applicable conditions and deadlines will be communicated.
6.5 The Organiser is in no case liable for a participant's travel, transfer, visa, insurance or other ancillary costs.
7. Accommodation
Accommodation is allocated by the Organiser across contracted properties in the Davos region. Participants purchase a residency class - shared or private - not a specific property, room or location; some properties are located outside Davos, up to approximately 60 minutes' travel from the venue. Shared accommodation means a shared room or apartment with another participant. Local tourist and city taxes, where levied, are payable by the participant directly at the property. Participants are bound by each property's house rules and are liable for damage they cause. Nights outside the contracted stay dates are not included and are the participant's own responsibility.
8. Speaking slot and programme participation
Residency packages include a speaking slot. Format, duration, session, date, time and co-panellists are determined solely by the Organiser in the interests of programme coherence, and may be changed. Participants provide requested materials by the stated deadlines; failure to do so may result in loss of the slot without refund. The Partner Residency (+1) does not include a speaking slot or a separate room and is valid only alongside a corresponding private residency; it cannot be purchased, retained or transferred independently.
9. Community programme and exclusions
The residency includes the associated community programme (onboarding calls, decompression call and subsequent community calls). Attendance is at the participant's discretion; non-attendance gives rise to no refund or reduction. Expressly excluded from the residency price: participation in House of Collaboration 2028, the 2028 retreat, and any other separately ticketed or invitation-only J3D.AI event.
10. Access, conduct and recording
Access to the event is by personal badge, issued against valid photo ID and booking confirmation. Badges are personal and may not be shared or lent.
Sessions are on record unless designated otherwise. Participants may report and attribute what is said, including by name and organisation. The Organiser may designate individual sessions as closed; where it does so, this is announced at the start of the session, and nothing said in that session may be reported or attributed outside it.
Recording, filming and live transmission of sessions by participants is not permitted. All audio, video and streaming rights in the programme rest exclusively with the Organiser.
Participant contact data made available through HoC - including any delegate list, directory or networking application - may be used solely for direct, individual professional follow-up. Use for marketing, mailing lists, bulk outreach, list-building, resale or transfer to third parties is prohibited.
The Organiser may refuse entry to or remove any participant whose conduct is unlawful, unsafe, harassing, or in breach of these Terms, without refund and without prejudice to further claims.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser's liability is limited to the amount paid by the participant. The Organiser is not liable for loss, injury or damage to persons or property at the event or at accommodation properties, nor for lost or stolen belongings, nor for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, other participants or partners. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health.
12. Data protection
The Organiser processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the J3D.AI Labs OÜ Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Participants acknowledge that HoC exists to create connections, and that their professional details - name, organisation, role and professional contact details - may be shared with other participants, partners and investors within the HoC ecosystem for the purposes of networking, collaboration and business opportunities, limited to what is relevant and necessary. Participants may object at any time via primary@j3d.ai.
13. Communications
Participants agree to receive communications necessary for participation. Participants may additionally receive information about future J3D.AI editions and initiatives where permitted by law, and may opt out at any time.
14. Photography and media
HoC is documented in photography, video and audio. By participating, you acknowledge that you may be recorded and that such material may be used by the Organiser for editorial, communication and promotional purposes without further compensation. Participants who wish to be excluded must notify the Organiser in writing before the event start date and register their exclusion at the on-site registration desk on arrival; the Organiser cannot guarantee exclusion where only one of the two notices is given.
15. Transfers and participant responsibility
Where a pass is transferred, the original purchaser is responsible for ensuring the substitute participant is informed of and agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
16. Final provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Estonian courts. Should any provision be invalid, the remainder stays in force.

Applies to all events organised by J3D.AI Labs OÜ (registry code 16585284, Vindi 9-41, 11315 Tallinn, Estonia), including the J3D.AI House of Collaboration. "Participant" means the person or organisation named on the booking.
1. Cancellation by the Participant
All bookings are final. Fees are non-refundable in whole or in part, irrespective of the date of cancellation or of non-attendance. This reflects the nature of the residency: places are limited, cohort composition is curated, and accommodation and programme costs are committed to suppliers on confirmation of booking.
Where a booking is paid in instalments, the full balance remains payable notwithstanding cancellation or non-attendance.
2. Substitution
A Participant unable to attend may nominate a replacement in writing to davos@j3d.ai at no charge up to 30 days before the event start. Between 30 and 11 days before the start, a substitution fee of CHF 250 applies. No substitutions are accepted within 10 days of the event start.
All replacements are subject to approval, as participation is subject to qualification. Speaking slots and programme roles do not transfer automatically.
At its sole discretion, J3D.AI Labs OÜ may issue a credit toward a future edition in place of a substitution. Such credit is a concession, not an entitlement.
3. Cancellation or postponement by J3D.AI Labs OÜ
J3D.AI Labs OÜ may cancel or postpone an event up to 30 days before the start date - in particular where participant numbers are insufficient, key speakers are unable to attend, the venue becomes unavailable, or in cases of force majeure.
In the event of cancellation, the Participant receives a full refund of fees paid or, at the Participant's election, a credit valid for the next edition.
In the event of postponement, the booking transfers to the new date; a Participant who cannot attend the new date may request a full refund within 14 days of being notified.
4. Force majeure
Force majeure includes epidemic or pandemic and related public-health measures, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government action, travel restrictions, strikes, natural disaster, and failure of critical infrastructure. Where an event cannot proceed for such reasons, Section 3 applies and neither party is liable for consequential loss.
5. Programme, speaker and venue changes
J3D.AI Labs OÜ reserves the right to amend the programme, substitute speakers, and change session times, formats or the venue at short notice, provided the overall value of the event to the Participant remains equivalent. Participants will be informed of material changes to date or location in good time. Such changes do not give rise to a right of cancellation or refund.
6. Travel, accommodation and ancillary costs
Participants are responsible for their own travel, visa and insurance arrangements. J3D.AI Labs OÜ does not reimburse travel, accommodation booked independently, or other costs incurred in connection with a cancelled, postponed or amended event. Participants are advised to hold appropriate event-cancellation insurance.
7. Limitation of liability
The total liability of J3D.AI Labs OÜ arising from cancellation, postponement or amendment is limited to the fees actually received from the Participant for that event. This limitation does not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or to any liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory law.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
Under §53(4) of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, implementing Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Bookings are therefore subject to Sections 1-2 above.
9. Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 days of confirmation, in the currency of the original transaction. Exchange-rate movements and payment-provider fees are borne by the Participant.
10. Governing law
This policy is governed by Estonian law. The courts of Tallinn have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers retain the protections of the mandatory law of their country of residence. Where this policy conflicts with the Terms & Conditions of sale, the Terms & Conditions prevail.
